Ray Vandeveer

Ray Vandeveer is the owner and President of
Associate Appraisers.
Graduating from
Obtaining his
real
estate license in 1978, he also trained
for and received certification as an
energy
auditor and
truth in
sale of housing evaluator for the
cities of
He is married 25 years to Camille and has four
grown children.
The company now has five professional
appraisers and serves the
Sharing the goal of enhancing the profession, Ray
has contributed many hours to the Society of Real Estate Appraisers (now
joined with and known as the Appraisal Institute-conferring it’s members

Vandeveer has served in numerous offices for the
NAIFA Metropolitan Chapter, including the honor of serving as President
(1987) and selection to
Admissions Committee Chair
for 1988 and 1989.
He was also selected by his peers as
Chair of
the Society of Real Estate Appraisers Professional Practice, Ethics and
Standards Committee in each of the
years 1988, 1989 and 1990).
Ray is a certified state of
Minnesota
Approved
Instructor of Real Estate and Appraisal Education
in 1991 and has taught numerous real estate appraisal classes.
Ray holds a
Certified
Federal General Appraiser license and
the
Ray Vandeveer has served his community for many
years, including service as a
City of
Forest Lake Planning Commissioner,
before his election to five terms as
State
Representative, and most recent
election to the
Minnesota State Senate
as Senator for District 52.
As owner and principal operator of Associate
Appraisers Ray has given the company a clear mission:
